Atlanta United adds Peach Pass as Proud Partner

ATLANTA (April 10, 2018) – Atlanta United today announced a partnership with Peach Pass that has the electronic toll collection system becoming a proud partner of both Atlanta United’s First Team and Atlanta United 2.
“We’re excited to welcome Peach Pass as a proud partner of Atlanta United and Atlanta United 2,” said Tim Zulawski, AMB Sports & Entertainment Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. “As we’ve always encouraged our fans to arrive early, Peach Pass gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy the complete match day experience.”
Peach Pass is connected to an account established with the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) that automatically deducts the proper tolls when using Georgia Express Lanes. These lanes give commuters the option to bypass traffic along interstates that are within some of the most congested corridors in metro Atlanta. Available on I-85 North of Atlanta, on I-75 South of Atlanta, and opening soon on I-75 and I-575 North of Atlanta, the Express Lanes provide commuters with an option to get where they need to be faster.
“SRTA is excited about our partnership with the Atlanta United franchise and the opportunity for their fans to become fans of Peach Pass as well,” Chris Tomlinson, SRTA Executive Director, said. “Purchasing a Peach Pass allows you to get to the games and your life faster and this will soon include those residents who live in the area of the I-75 and I-575 Northwest Corridor Express Lanes, opening this summer.”
Atlanta United (4-1-0, 12 points) returns to action at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, April 17 against NYCFC (6 p.m., FS1).

About the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA)

SRTA is a state-level, independent Authority created to operate tolled transportation facilities within Georgia and act as the transportation financing arm for the state. SRTA manages the collection of tolls on Georgia’s Express Lanes System through the use of Peach Pass; administers the Atlanta region’s vanpool program; and manages the Xpress regional commuter coach transit service. In 2017, SRTA combined with the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) to jointly provide the services of both state authorities. The GRTA board serves continues to oversee developments of regional impact, air quality reporting and regional transportation plan approval.
